C-COM GX

A 10-inch capacitive touchscreen display that offers complete flexibility in how operators interact with camera images in the vehicle and machine interface.  VIS has the engineering resources for complex graphics design. VIS can do the software development in partnership with the customer, either developing the software with customer input or helping the customer develop the software with VIS expert support.  VIS uses industry-standard design tools that are flexible and powerful to make sure customers have exactly what they want.

    AMETEK VIS’ C-COM 10GX-100 display is part of the CAN Communicator family of graphics displays that can satisfy the instrumentation requirements for all vehicle platforms. 

    The capacitive touchscreen is optically bonded for enhanced readability, improved durability and exceptional picture quality.   The high resolution, easy to read display provides multiple camera views, vehicle status information, diagnostics, fault codes, user set up features, maintenance requirements, and supports multiple languages.  In-plane switching (IPS) allows for a wide viewing angle with a portrait or landscape mode.

    C-COM 10GX-100 features an easily accessible microSD card is available for event recording, and an ambient light sensor to automatically adjusts the brightness of the display for day and night time operation.   The real time clock has a 10+ day backup timekeeping with no battery connection.

    The Linux based system provides a reliable, customizable and secure development tool, while sharing a common platform.
