What is the difference between an instrument cluster and a smart display?
An instrument cluster is the panel of gauges and indicators directly in front of the driver that shows core data such as speed, engine status, and warnings. A smart display is a more flexible programmable screen that can show instrumentation plus operator messaging and live camera views, and can be mounted anywhere in the cab.
